Changes offers free training on emotional wellbeing and mental health in children and young people as part of Stoke-on-Trent Children and Young People’s Strategic Partnership.

The training has been developed by local Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) practitioners. There are a range of sessions, including a day-long course which covers an introduction to mental health promotion, common emotional wellbeing and mental health problems in children and young people and how to respond to issues effectively.

There are also specialist half day sessions available once the introductory course has been completed and a new half day “Practical Skills” session for those who wish to further enhance their learning and skills.
